KGS leads finance and operations at Nexus Venture Partners.

KGS has over two decades of experience in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Systems & Processes, Controls, Treasury, Tax and Compliance. Prior to joining Nexus, KGS spent close to 15 years, in various roles including Retail Financing, Asset Reconstruction and Capital Market Financing, at Kotak Mahindra Group, a leading Financial Services player in India. Immediately prior to joining Nexus, he was Senior Vice President- Finance & Operations at Kotak Mahindra Investments Ltd., a Non Banking Finance Company in the group, heading Finance and Operations. He was also the Chief Compliance Officer and member of various management committees like the Asset Liability Committee, Risk Management Committee and Operating Committee. KGS also worked with Business Standard, a leading financial media house, where he was in charge of HR, Legal and General Administration apart from the core Finance and Accounting function. He played a key role in improving the operational and financial efficiency of the company. He started his career with Ashok Leyland Finance Ltd, a leading NBFC specializing in Commercial Vehicles and Corporate Financing products in 1995.

KGS is a Commerce graduate, a Law graduate, a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant.
