Nexus India Capital invests in the world’s free web meeting company, DimDim

Just as Hotmail changed the rules for e-mail and Skype changed the rules for voice calls, DimDim is changing the rules for rich-media collaboration.

DimDim will now make collaboration affordable and accessible to the world. Consumers across the world can download DimDim’s web meeting product and use the basic version for free. Students, Professors, Special Interest Groups, IT Professionals, Researchers, NGOs, Businessmen and anyone else who has a need to collaborate and share information real time can now do so for free. DimDim is browser based so attendees don’t require a client download.

As business, including SMEs are rapidly becoming more global, the need for collaboration increases. DimDim will also enable ISPs and telcos to offer cost effective collaboration solutions to these SMEs.

Nexus India Capital led the Series A investment in the company. Suvir Sujan, Managing Director, Nexus India Capital Advisors, will be joining the board of DimDim.
